This is an Alemite 555-E Professional Heavy Duty Pistol Grip Grease Gun.
We were extremely impressed with these products and decided to make them available to our customers.
These are professional grease guns designed to consistently deliver excellent performance.
They take the standard 400g cartridge.
This one comes with a 18″ Flexible Grease Hose.
The Alemite 308730 Narrow Profile 3 Jaw Grease Coupler makes greasing propshafts easier as you can get in confined spaces easier, the 3 jaw coupler is also easier to pull off compared to the bigger 4 jaw type.
The 555-E has a dual mode, pistol grip lever mechanism that makes it possible to choose either high-volume output or high-pressure delivery.
It is unbelievable how much extra grease they push out per pump compared to the cheaper ones on the market.
They also develop 7,500 psi of pressure.

By using the Pistol Grip Grease Gun they make greasing a propshaft under the vehicle much easier as you only need one hand holding the grease gun which is held on the handle to pump the grease.

If you are looking for a lever action Grease Gun with higher volume and pressure. Please see here – GL1241, Alemite 500-E Grease Gun

Fitting the Flexi Grease Hose:-
The Flexi Grease Hoses have a tapered thread this is how they seal, when fitting the hose to the grease gun do not over tighten as the tapered thread can crack the casting if forced.

Grease Cartridge Fitting guide :-
Un screw the Barrel from the Head of the Grease Gun.
Pull the Plunger Rod T Handle out of the Barrel and lock it fully out.
Remove the 2 caps off the Grease Cartridge, sometimes easier to hit the small cap with a small hammer to crack the seal.
Fit the cartridge into the Barrel.
Screw the Barrel onto the Head of the Grease Gun 2 turns.
Un latch the T Handle Plunger Rod and push it fully back in, (you might hear air releasing).
Now fully tighten the Barrel onto the Head of the Grease Gun, (this helps push the grease into the pump).
If there is still air in there try pressing the air bleed valve, or undo the Barrel 2 turns to let air out.
