This is a Drop Arm Puller to remove your original Swan Neck Style Defender Drop Arm as drop arms can be hard to get off the tapered splines.
Drop Arms can still be difficult to pull off even with a puller, if you do find that it will not pull off with the puller sometimes the slightest bit of heat on the drop arm is enough to expand the tapered splines and it will just drop off, even grinding a slot in the old drop arm is enough to expand it enough to pull off.
The drop arm is supplied with 2 off m16 x 80 12.9 grade Set Screws, it is worth grinding a slight point on these to align better on the bottom of the steering box shaft, also use plenty of oil on the threads of the puller and bolt.
