For a Discovery 2 there are three potential options for the front, all three options use high quality components to Gwyn’s very own specific specifications.
Option 1 –
The Discovery 2 direct bolt on Propshaft. This is a double cardan Propshaft using 1310 UJ’s, however, the slider is on the Diff end, this is the reason that this Propshaft is a cheaper option. This is the most popular choice for a Discovery 2.

Option 2 –
This is a Defender front double cardan Propshaft, a Defender front transfer box flange will be required to fit this Propshaft to a Discovery 2. This Propshaft uses 1310 UJ’s, the slider is on the double cardan end keeping it out of the mud and water.

Option 3 –
This is a Defender front double cardan Propshaft, a Defender front transfer box flange will be required to fit this Propshaft to a Discovery 2. This Propshaft uses 2020 MEGA UJ’s which are stronger to cope with extra power, the slider is on the double cardan end keeping it out of the mud and water.

For the rear of a Discovery 2, we have two options.
A 4 bolt diff flange will be required to fit these propshafts. Converting to a 4-bolt system from a rubber drive coupling (doughnut) is more reliable, as rubber wears out quickly.
