This is a pair of mud shields (kit includes Right Hand and Left Hand side)
These front wing, bumper mud shield guards will fit all Defenders. They will stop all the mud and road salt from getting onto the front bumper, road salt and mud settles on the bumper which causes the bumpers to rot away. If lights are fitted to the bumper these shields will also protect them from mud and road salt.
They are made from a rigid but still flexible 3mm plastic material in black with stainless steel brackets and fixings. They are easy to fit, just slide them in between the inner wing and the front wing bracket, and use the 2 inner wing securing screws to secure them.
When fitting our mud shield kits I recommend using Morris K48 Moly Grease on all nuts/bolts and on all the steel and galvanized fittings that bolt to alloy as it acts like a barrier to stop corrosion, if brushed onto the brackets it will help stop white salt marks that occur from road salt in wet conditions.
