Spring Retainers are to hold down the rear spring onto the axle spring seat. They are bent on both ends to lock the spring onto the seat when used with dislocating rear springs.

Fitment

Each bolt comes with three washers. You need to use one of the washers as a spacer, placing it between the spring retainer and the spring seat. The spring seat is not flat, so using a washer prevents the retainer from bending and not clamping the spring properly when you tighten it.

Sold as a pair, comes with all bolts, nuts and washers required for fitment, they are also galvanized to prolong life.
