GL2008, these shocks give a Medium Sport Ride, recommended for Defender 90s Front & Rear, Defender 110/130 Front and Front of Discovery 1 & RRC, (light to medium weight Land Rovers)
GL2010, these are the same shock but with a firmer valving, better suited for use on the Rear of 110/130s, Rear of Discovery 1 & RRC and 90s that are heavily loaded. (Land Rovers that are regularly carrying extra weight or towing)

These OME shock absorbers are for our Challenge Suspension Kit, which is designed for those looking to get the best from their suspension both on and off the road. This kit will give you the maximum amount of axle articulation we have to offer for off road use. They are a PIN/PIN fixing and will require our Challenge Shock mount along with our Challenge front turret to be fitted to the Land Rover. These shocks are 11 inch travel.
They come ready assembled with the bushes and our bush isolation washers on each end,(these bush isolation washers are very important, to help stop the pin of the shock wearing away, all our shocks come with them ready fitted) see the bush isolation washers here – GL1076
The OME Sport Shocks are designed to provide a superior ride and handling experience compared to other shock absorbers. This is thanks to the multi-stacked rebound and compression valving, once the shock is compressed it is hard to pull back out. This feature helps to prevent body roll and bounce, while still maintaining a comfortable ride both on and off the road
Old Man Emu Sport:- These have powerful valves that provide excellent road manners, even on a heavier Land Rover without Anti Roll Bars fitted. They are available with a medium and firm sport ride. We recommend these for the best road manners but on a Land Rover carrying a little extra weight they do ride a bit hard.
