Gwyn Lewis 4×4 turret securing rings are made from 6mm mild steel and are zinc plated. 8.8 grade studs are threaded and welded into them, nyloc nuts and washers are also provided. Turret Securing rings are a must have when changing your front suspension, as standard securing ring bolts do sometimes break off if over tightened.
They have a flat face on the underside for the coil spring to sit on properly and they also have a flat face on the outer edge to stop the tyre rubbing them on full articulation.
Our turret base plate and turret securing rings have flat faces cut in them, this is to minimise any tyre rubbing on full articulation and makes it easier to fit the turret under the inner wing, you can see this on one of the pictures.
When fitting brush plenty of grease over the whole ring and studs to help reduce corrosion.
Sold as a pair and come complete with nylock nuts and washers.
